Birds are all around us. We see them almost every day, and they captivate us. Their beautiful colors, quirky behaviors, and awe-inspiring gift of flight spark our imaginations. The Birds & Friends Activity Book by Jennifer M. Mitchell is an amazing educational tool! Your budding bird-watcher will learn important details about nearly 50 species of backyard favorites found across the United States, like the American Goldfinch and Northern Cardinal—with special appearances by bees, butterflies, wildflowers, and other “bird friends.”
Coloring pages present facts such as the birds’ colors and diets, where they live, and where you are most likely to see them. Activities like mazes, word finds, and dot-to-dots reinforce the information in unique and creative ways. Plus, the Birds & Friends Activity Book offers suggestions for family activities, from making a birdbath to going on a bird hike.
