About Us

Feed the Birds! is a brick and mortar store based in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.  It was opened in December 2010 by Robert and Maria Armanini.  Robert was between jobs when he discovered the joy of bird feeding and decided to make it his career.  This was his best decision ever!  

Robert is the genius behind the store.  He is the one who finds all the unique and wonderful products that we sell.  Many of our products were discovered during our travels, many of which were found in Maine.  We do our best to find products that are Made in USA.

Maria worked part time at the store, basically doing bookkeeping and sales until October 2019 when she retired from her boring full time job in Finance to work at the store.  She hasn't looked back and doesn't miss Finance one bit! 

We are both experts in backyard birding and can help you find exactly what you need to make your backyard a home to all the wonderful birds in your neighborhood.
